You press send on a 300-word email. And you wonder why they don't reply.
Let's be real: no one is reading it.
In the age of TikTok and fleeting attention spans, you have 5 seconds to grab your prospect's focus. Maybe 10 if you're lucky.
That 300-word thesis you just wrote? Straight to the trash folder.
Here's the truth: long emails don't get read.
You're a stranger in their inbox. If your email isn't short, catchy and relevant, you've lost them.
Aim for 100 words max (75 is even better). Use simple 6th grade language. Ask thoughtful questions to spark their interest.
The simpler and more on-point your message, the better.
Keep it concise, catchy and laser-focused.
Otherwise, you might as well text yourself. No one else is reading that novel you just wrote.
Time to try again. Craft a short, punchy message that grabs your prospect's attention.
Under 100 words. Clear language. Thought-provoking questions.
Do that and you just might get a response.
